Brain Food

Kids are the future of tomorrow and I do believe that with their help and the influence of art, they'll be better suited and encouraged to change the world.

Brain Food is a deck of 50 cards, each illustrating and directing a different activity for kids to use their imaginations. It is a collaboration between AIGA Portland Design For Good, the Right Brain Initiative, and 10 illustrators, who all want to see more opportunities for kids to experience the life changing effects of art. It With the help of funding from communities near and far, the decks were donated to classrooms around the Portland metro.
*Shown are the 5 cards I illustrated, in addition to the cover illustration which was made by Sara Sjol
Decks are for sale online here, and in stores at local Portland New Seasons. All sales directly benefit The Right Brain Initiative’s arts education programming in Portland area public schools.
What does this mean for kids, for you, and for me?
